YouTube and RQ recently partnered with Getty Images to create a unique YouTube Shorts content lounge at Coachella, one of the top music festivals in the country.
Getty Images renowned celebrity photographer, Irvin Rivera, and acclaimed videographer, Adam Finmann, captured portraits and BTS video of some of the most recognized musicians in the world—elevating and amplifying the activation with their unmatched media reach.
From the activation, stills and video portraits were used across YouTube’s social platforms and delivered to the artist's to share on their social channels. Over 90 artists and YouTube creators were captured by Getty Images, more than doubling the client’s expected turn-out. A library of 380 photos and videos were published to the wire with YouTube in the caption, headline, and byline, and made available for immediate organic press-pickup. Getty further supported YouTube’s objectives by posting images and videos on their owned social channels, such as YouTube Shorts and Instagram, amplifying the already robust reach.
